Bells Beach has two defined wave sections. Rincon breaks on high tides when the waves are smaller they peak on a distinct ledge, peeling beneath the limestone cliffs and run all the way through to the beach. The Bowl is the gun wave, over five feet and it starts to turn on. When it's this big, paddle out from the inside corner of the beach, closest to the cliffs.
