TELO ISLAND LODGE

The Telo Island Lodge is an exclusive lodge located on remote Sibranun Island in the Telo's island group, Sumatra, Indonesia. Constructed in 2006, the Lodge is an open-plan post-and-beam design that features large, cool, open areas and fully air-conditioned bedrooms. The Lodge sits on a white-sand beach fronting a lagoon that features three small islets and a fantastic right-hand reef/point wave directly in front of it.

During the 2006 season Telo Island Lodge was visited by a broad range of surfers that covered all types of surfing, from female longboarders right through to professional shortboarders. During this time many different breaks were ridden and found and in 2007 Telo Island Lodge opened to the public. In 2008 Telo Island Lodge continues to grow with the needs of guests with the addition of more boats, a jetski, more space designed for relaxing, additional rooms to sleep in and a customer service second to none in the islands.

Telo Island Lodge aims to provide an intimate, high-end, inclusive service for a maximum of eight guests and has operated a fly-in fly-out using a Casa 212 aircraft operated by Sabang Merauke since early 2006. 2010 begins with a few changes and Medan is now the point of entry to Telo Island Lodge flying with MBA who will also deliver the same quality service. Having fully qualified, professionally accredited, surf coaches as guides with over 15 years experience in living and surfing the region and as surf travel operators, Telo Islands Lodge is able to provide its guests with a surfing adventure holiday they will not forget.

Telo Island Lodge is growing from strength to strength and with 2008 being so successful, the Lodge has now brought in wire fii capability, more toys and more equipment for '09 and beyond. Add to this even better service during your stay to maximise your enjoyment, all which will add to a lifetime full of memories. *In the event of flights being cancelled to the islands due to unforseen circumstances the operators of Telo Island Lodge have a contingency plan in place. Either an alternative air carrier, a charter vessel or fast speedboat (weather permitting) will be used to transfer guests. Although not ideal, it is sometimes unavoidable due to the remoteness of Telo Island Lodge.*
