Westport Breakwater

Westport is a small coastal town with a quiet, relaxing attitude. It is a good base offering all the creature comforts while still allowing you to check out the other breaks on the West Coast of New Zealand's remote South Island.

Blaketown still operates as a fishing village, so there will be a great feed of fish after a long day of surfing.

There are some great waves located just out of town at the mouth of the Buller River. There can be some great peaks along the beach here.
