MARGARET RIVER - WESTERN AUSTRALIA

The left at Margaret River is a world class wave that gets big and heavy and a right hand wave that can punish the naive. This place has the goods for both goofy and natural footers. It has a heavy looking drop and long wall that can be intimidating. The wave then pitches to line up one of the fastest turns you will ever do along a solid face, even when it's onshore and maybe through to a pit on the inside section.

The right-hander at Margaret River can be seen from the car park if its working properly. It gets pretty heavy and unforgiving to those caught inside, so dont ride too close to the reef on the inside. Keep cutting back into the white water, riding it along the edge of the reef and you'll score a wave that runs for a couple of hundred meters.
