MANLY - NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA

Manly is a typical beach break that has many moods. When it's small it can have an outstanding wave that suits all surfers. On its day Manly can also show you six foot walls of fame that will make you smile for your whole holiday. Manly is the first beach you'll come to when you cross the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Manly Beach is really a collective name given to several different sections along the two kilometre stretch. Off the headland at the South end, Fairy Bower offers a few point and reef options. They differ from heavy slabs to long playful walls. The beach itself stretches from South Steyne to Queenscliff at the North end. They all offer a quality selection of peaks, with the northern ends generally being a bit bigger.
